Hit-and-run accidents in Las Vegas can affect pedestrians, bike riders, motorcyclists and vehicle drivers. After you or a loved one has been injured in a hit-and-run accident, you do have options that may help you pursue compensation.
Your first options is to try and track down the driver who fled the scene. If you or a witness can remember details about the car and driver who hit you, then an experienced personal injury attorney may be able to help track them down.

When these details are not available, your next option is to apply for compensation through your own insurance provider. To be able to take advantage of this option you need to currently have uninsured motorist coverage.
