Las Vegas father uses garden hose to try to extinguish house fire

A sleeping family of six were alerted to their home being on fire when a passerby used their car horn to alert them of danger. The northwest Las Vegas home was left uninhabitable by the fire leaving the family homeless.

Las Vegas Fire and Rescue were able to put the house fire out in 30 minutes; no one was injured.  Read more about the house fire in this Las Vegas Review Journal article: Early morning fire in northwest Las Vegas Valley displaces six.
